Thank you to the Artist of the Beautifull Art
“You have continually been told to go within and let your heart speak your truth. Yet you are being given extreme amounts of information concerning the future of the planet from many brilliant sources – more than has ever been told before – to the extent that the whole picture can become overwhelmingly confusing. How much can the conscious brain-mind really comprehend of all this?”
“For the first time in history, we have access to a mammoth and unprecedented amount of information.
While this freedom to learn brings countless opportunities for personal growth, it can also get quite overwhelming! There are so many thoughts, opinions, debates, and discussions out there.
Who do we listen to?”
Retrospection can be defined as
- ‘the act of recalling things past, esp in one’s personal experience’
- ‘the act of looking back on things past’
- reflection on the past
- ‘the action, process, or faculty of looking back on things past’
- To think about the past
- To look back on things about the past
Here are a few thoughts to ponder about that might help initiate a guided path to where to search for information that touch and resonate with your soul, and can offer plethora of ideas and guidance, knowledge, epiphanies and resolutions that feel right for you.
“When we are in an act of creation, it is creativity that is involved, whether or not we consider ourselves artistic or inventive thinkers. We use this energy at the conception of a plan, but also at many stages along the way in order to work with what the universe brings into play.” https://www.dailyom.com/cgi-bin/display/articledisplay.cgi?aid=76861 “When we can recognize the wisdom and the perfect sense of timing that our co-creator possesses, we can also trust that our projects can only benefit from such input.” https://www.dailyom.com/cgi-bin/display/articledisplay.cgi?aid=76861

“Spiritual ascension (or spiritual awakening) is one of many major topics out there….” “Spiritual ascension, also known as spiritual awakening, is a natural evolutionary process which involves the process of shedding the old self and experiencing an inner rebirth. Many people speak about spiritual ascension in terms of being “upgraded,” “rebooted” or being elevated in vibrational frequency. All of these terms are a way of referring to the inner evolution and expansion of the mind, heart, or soul. As the name implies, spiritual ascension is about reaching new heights and transcending old limiting habits, beliefs, mindsets, and ways of being.” https://wakeup-world.com/2021/03/26/5-different-forms-of-spiritual-ascension-which-have-you-experienced/
“5 Types of Spiritual Ascension
1. Awakening of the Mind
This type of awakening comes when you experience a major epiphany or sudden mental realization……it does feel like an astonishing flash of ‘enlightened’ perspective that can help you mentally understand life.
How to know if you have experienced one: Have you ever experienced that sudden ‘click’ when a piece of information/word/synchronicity falls into a larger puzzle? This is called a mental awakening. And often such realizations stay with us, motivating and inspiring profound changes in our lives.
2. Awakening of a New Personality
When mental awakenings are consistent and go deep enough, over a period of time they can result in the development of a new personality. This type of transformation and ascension involves cutting away and moving past old limiting and toxic patterns and developing qualities such as self-acceptance, empowerment, and understanding. While this type of awakening isn’t as deep as say, a soul awakening, it is nonetheless still vital on the spiritual path.
How to know if you have experienced one: Think back to the kind of person you were one to three years ago. Are you still pretty much the same person? Or have you made some major life-enhancing positive shifts? If you think you’ve changed (in a good way), you’ve likely experienced a personality awakening. This type of awakening is caused when previously repressed, ignored or shunned parts of the personality have been integrated to create more wholeness.
3. Awakening of Spiritual Energy
‘Spiritual ascension’ can sometimes refer to awakening spiritual energy within the body and energy field. When life force energy (commonly referred to as qi, prana, or kundalini energy) is awakened, major changes can occur on the physical through the spiritual levels…….This sudden activation is called a Kundalini Awakening, which enters the realms of the soul and total awakening (see the next two types below).
How to know if you have experienced one: An awakening of spiritual energy can feel mild all the way to extreme. (And when I say extreme, I mean intensely overwhelming and often too much to bear.) Common signs of an awakening of spiritual energy involve feelings of enhanced vitality and energy on the physical level, energy rushes, tingling and electrical feelings throughout the body,…..sharpened awareness, and feelings of cosmic interconnectedness. Negative symptoms can also arise (for the uninitiated) such as mood swings, mania, physical hypersensitivity, insomnia, seizures, loss of appetite or overeating, extreme and scary altered states of consciousness – just to name a few.
4. Awakening of the Soul
Soul awakenings can be brief and sudden, or long and drawn out. Brief soul awakenings are often referred to in Zen Buddhism as ‘Satori’ which is the experience of seeing into one’s true eternal nature. This glimpse of enlightenment is often short and doesn’t last very long (one moment to a few days). On the other hand, long-term soul awakenings are experienced as a deepening of contact with one’s Soul. This could involve consistently uniting with one’s soul purpose, spirit guides, or higher self and thereby understanding and beginning to experience oneself as Eternal and Limitless.
How to know if you have experienced one: Have you ever had a moment in which you felt the division between yourself and the World disintegrate? Have you ever shifted from the ego-perspective to the universal-perspective? Have you experienced any moments where you’ve felt deeply aligned with your life purpose? These are all signs of a soul awakening. Developing virtuous qualities such as compassion, tolerance, forgiveness, and unconditional love also accompany soul awakenings.
5. Total Awakening (Enlightenment)
Enlightenment, or total ego death, is a rare experience in which the ‘self’ dissolves and all that remains is Unity With All. This state is called by many names: Oneness, moksha, non-dual awareness, Buddhahood, illumination, and so forth. Such an intense state of being can arrive spontaneously or through years of spiritual study and discipline – but in both instances, total awakening is a gift of grace, it isn’t something that we can “achieve” in the normal sense of the word. When enlightenment occurs, there is an experience of being both nothing and everything all at once; it is a state that transcends thought and the mind itself, it is a Mystical Awakening. The ego is finally seen, understood, and overcome, and all that remains is the Pure Awareness, Presence, Love, and Truth.”
Following are thoughts to consider in what is required to make a positive change in your life:
Showing Gratitude and Appreciation:
Express gratitude towards those that have supported, guided or helped you on your journey. You can show gratitude in numerous ways such as prayer, showing acknowledgement, sending a hand written letter, making a gift, planting a tree in honour of them, writing in your journal, sending them a message of deep heart felt thank you, or simply sending loving energies in your thoughts to them.

“Liberation From The Outdated
A rebellious streak…..may find you trying to liberate yourself and others from outdated rules and laws. Since you know that this is how society moves forward, you may be a bit forceful as you try to pioneer new ways of doing things. Using your rebellious feelings to promote a cause is a good use of your energy, but change is something that can’t easily be forced. When the thinking of a society needs to change, it could take one or more generations for true change to be seen. When rules and laws need to be changed, it is a process of legal proceedings and judgments. When people are forced to change, they tend to resist, so you may want to look at many ways to bring your cause to the attention of different segments of society. Today you may be making a one-time contribution to change or choosing an extended project that is close to your heart, but you can make a difference in the world.
We can look back through history at the individuals who pioneered new movements and big changes in the world. We can see how consensus swings as if on a pendulum before it reaches a place of equilibrium and acceptance. Life is in a constant state of change, as are we, and it may require an act of rebellion to bring change about. But when we act from our deepest beliefs today, we know that we are following the guidance of the universe for the good of the world.” https://www.dailyom.com/cgi-bin/display/articledisplay.cgi?aid=76813
Important to know that for any change to occur it must first begin within yourselves.
“Share Your Insights
Your life experiences could provide you with an unlimited source of insights that can benefit others today. Perhaps it is your ability to learn from your triumphs as well as your mistakes that draws others to you. Being able to identify and connect with what makes you human and fallible yet capable of great learning and understanding could make it easier for you to share the wisdom of your experiences with other people…..Try thinking back to a time in your life when things didn’t seem to go well and you had to call upon resources from deep within to guide you through the situation. Understanding that this may be what others feel could give you a greater empathy and awareness of how to reveal your experiences with others in a way that is positive, constructive, and healing for them.
Our experiences are valuable to us not only because of what we gain from them but also because of what we can share with others. When we consider that a large part of our learning process is being able to connect with the things that happen to other people, we begin to realize that all of us are teachers for we all have knowledge that we can impart to each other. By trusting that what you have learned can be of benefit to others and by being willing to communicate both your positive and negative experiences today, your insights will be of great benefit to the people in your life.” https://www.dailyom.com/cgi-bin/display/articledisplay.cgi?aid=76837

And to complete Retrospection, here is a beautiful story to contemplate upon:
“Two Drops Of Oil
A merchant sent his son to learn the Secret of Happiness from the wisest of men. The young man wandered through the desert for forty days until he reached a beautiful castle at the top of a mountain. There lived the sage that the young man was looking for.
However, instead of finding a holy man, our hero entered a room and saw a great deal of activity; merchants coming and going, people chatting in the corners, a small orchestra playing sweet melodies, and there was a table laden with the most delectable dishes of that part of the world.
The wise man talked to everybody, and the young man had to wait for two hours until it was time for his audience.
The Sage listened attentively to the reason for the boy’s visit, but told him that at that moment he did not have the time to explain to him the Secret of Happiness.
He suggested that the young man take a stroll around his palace and come back in two hours’ time.
“However, I want to ask you a favor,” he added, handling the boy a teaspoon, in which he poured two drops of oil. “While you walk, carry this spoon and don’t let the oil spill.”
The young man began to climb up and down the palace staircases, always keeping his eyes fixed on the spoon. At the end of two hours he returned to the presence of the wise man.
“So,” asked the sage, “did you see the Persian tapestries hanging in my dining room? Did you see the garden that the Master of Gardeners took ten years to create? Did you notice the beautiful parchments in my library?”
Embarrassed, the young man confessed that he had seen nothing. His only concern was not to spill the drops of oil that the wise man had entrusted to him.
“So, go back and see the wonders of my world,” said the wise man. “You can’t trust a man if you don’t know his house.”
Now more at ease, the young man took the spoon and strolled again through the palace, this time paying attention to all the works of art that hung from the ceiling and walls.
He saw the gardens, the mountains all around the palace, the delicacy of the flowers, the taste with which each work of art was placed in its niche. Returning to the sage, he reported in detail all that he had seen.
“But where are the two drops of oil that I entrusted to you?” asked the sage.
Looking down at the spoon, the young man realized that he had spilled the oil.
“Well, that is the only advice I have to give you,” said the sage of sages.
“The Secret of Happiness lies in looking at all the wonders of the world and never forgetting the two drops of oil in the spoon.”
